Mount Shasta is a famous volcano in Siskiyou County, California. At over 14,000 feet, Mt. Shasta is part of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
The road to Mount Shasta's peak provides one of the most beautiful driving experiences in Northern California. For centuries, adventurers have trekked up to "White Mountain", as Native Americans have long called it.
