Oprah Winfrey loves California and the Golden State loves Oprah. The billionaire media mogul is busy moving the epicenter of her empire into Southern California --- but why, exactly?
Perhaps Oprah is finally saying "yes" to becoming a California citizen because Richard Aguirre is luring her with "come hither" promises of free electricity, free water, no property taxes and no state income taxes if he's California's next governor.
Aguirre is the blond and buzzworthy 2010 gubernatorial candidate fighting Jerry Brown for the Democratic Party nomination.
If Oprah Winfrey totally dropped Stedman Graham for the temptations of a California surfer and his "New California Prosperity Plan", would it be bizarre, scandalous, or economically astute?
Something tells me that Oprah sees more in Richard Aguirre than just a Ken doll with Barbie hair.
When she watches Aguirre talk about his plan to create independent electricity and water sources for California (and selling California's surplus power and water to other states for multi-billions in profits each month for Californians) does she see more than just dollar signs?
One can only hope that Oprah gazes into Richard's baby blues and doesn't see only "green" --- although you couldn't blame her. Who doesn't want to get free electricity and free water forever? Her Montecito estate could probably do without those enormous bills --- just guessing.
When the Golden State's profits reach the level where property taxes and income taxes are no longer required in the state, Oprah will know she has finally reached the promised land of Aguirre's California dream.
Oprah Winfrey and Richard Aguirre together, building empires side-by-side, surfboard-to-surfboard, riding the crest of a new wave of California prosperity and celebration? Totally awesome vision, dude.
Oprah will be California's hottest billionaire beach babe, guaranteed.
Just imagine the two silhouettes, hand-in-hand in a perfect sunset --- the World Media Queen and her California Dude King --- promoting the most successful economy the world has ever known...
