California's Favorite Rolls Royce
Wednesday, May 12, 2010
The Rolls-Royce Ghost is so popular in California that new buyers are ordering their own custom colors. Individuality is still alive and well in the Golden State.
In California, "RR" now stands for "Recession-Recovered", and expensive status symbols are back in style.
At approximately $300,000, the new Rolls-Royce Ghost is the perfect accessory for a new face lift, bleach job or male enhancement procedure --- so I'm told. Whatever floats your boat, dude.
Personally, I would want mine to have the same psychedelic paint job as the Rolls-Royce that John Lennon had in the '60s. Why not go for the gusto?
I think I'll order one on the way to my local 99-cent store.
Of course, it goes without saying that Barbie is going to want a pink one. California's most famous plastic icon already has her Rolls-Royce Ghost on-order, I'm positive. The upholstery must be plastic. Can you really see Barbie sitting on "dead animal flesh"? Ewww.
Hollywood's most famous plastic icon, Angelyne, will have to break down and trade-in her legendary pink Corvette. Tinseltown's billboard queen will need a convertible Ghost. With all her posing and pouting for the paparazzi, Angelyne needs to be openly available for cameras --- especially for cleavage shots.
Maybe the State of California should scrap all plans for a high-speed rail system. It might be more cost-effective to put a new Rolls-Royce Ghost in every Californian's driveway. I'm just sayin'.
The Ghost is a beautiful car. I am positive that Rolls-Royce would agree that every California citizen should drive one. High-speed opulent luxury should be written into the California Constitution!
