The Californian Empire

The Californian Empire is an empire like no other in history, surpassing all previous empires in magnitude and headed where none has yet ventured.

How high, how deep, and how wide must the Empire of California cast the net for a kingdom that might ultimately dominate all?

How can such a groovy place like California even be called an 'empire' in the first place?

Ancient history records Cain as the builder of the first city.  It was simply one guy's attempt to recreate Eden, the place his parents had expressed homesickness for throughout Cain's childhood.

The dude created his own version of Paradise and named it after his own kid.

Afterward, a lot of cities were built, many became city-states, some ballooned into nations, and several exploded into empires.

The Babylonians, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the British, the Americans and the Californians all shook things up quite a bit.

From Iraq and Iran, through Europe, onto the British Isles, across to the United States, and to the west coast of the Golden State, this trail of empires has left its mark on the world.

More than any other empire, though, California is developing into the closest thing the world has seen to a global empire.  The golden daughter has run far beyond her foremothers, some would say.

California is a land symbolized by an Egyptian-Greco-Roman virgin warrior goddess who is said to have invented music.  She runs around with a serpent, an owl and a bear, so one can assume that California is a little 'different'.

The economic, cultural, social, political, intellectual, emotional, psychological, sexual and spiritual influences of California sweep over all lands and all societies of our planet.

California's technological powers have mapped, categorized, utilized and dominated land surfaces, ocean floors, skies and planets, as well as information, communications and most knowledge worldwide.

Silicon Valley's tech industry tracks global ideas, movements, minds, conversations and transactions while liberating nearly 7-billion individuals to institute radical changes in their own governments and societies.

The technology and philosophy of the Californian Empire can allow populations to organize revolutions around the world at a moment's notice, as the world is now witnessing.

California's entertainment and media industries provide perspective, perception, suggestions and influence to all people everywhere, all of the time.

Stories, rumors, shows, songs, books, magazines, music, art, articles and websites about California all enjoy a worldwide audience daily.  Many Hollywood celebrities have a billion ears straining to hear even their most casual utterances.

California allows equal time to all faiths, religions, spiritual movements, cults and gurus through every imaginable media outlet.  All creative urges are respected, all lifestyles are publicized, and all viewpoints are argued openly.

Billions around the world have their own dreams of California, and most people want to come here and see it all.

Every human knows where California is, and many people consider California living to be the ultimate world standard.

The zenith of human existence, it is a magical land of the famous, the beautiful, and the lucky.  Californians are seen as blessed above all people --- even above Americans.

California is 'Eden' to the present world, without question.

What's left?  California has, apparently, already conquered the microscopic, macroscopic and telescopic realms, as well as all which is said, seen, heard and perceived.  California is above as below.

Is there no place unconquered by the Californian Empire?  If so, how high, how deep, and how wide must the Empire of California cast the net for a kingdom which might ultimately dominate all?

The Kingdom of Heaven is within.
