Hollywood Stereotypes Suck!

Hollywood stereotypes, in movies and on television, can be funny, offensive, destructive or just plain stupid.

Most folks agree that the racial, sexual, cultural and religious Hollywood stereotypes are fake --- like Hollywood itself.

Oh, sorry.  Was that a stereotype?  My bad!

Latina maids named Maria?  Black criminals who are 'hip' and know how to 'bust a move'?  Bleach-blonde airhead nymphomaniacs?  Wise old Asian liquor store owners who can't drive?  Arab terrorists who make great hummus dip?  Bitchy gay beauticians who decorate?  Greedy Jewish tightwads who tell jokes?

Please.  Give us all a break. 

Hollywood represents Californians, and everybody else, about as well as the devil represents God.
