Schwarzenegger Turns 64

Arnold Schwarzenegger has turned 64 years old today, though many might say that the former California governor's 64th birthday today is bittersweet.

In the midst of a divorce, Arnold Schwarzenegger laments the loss of his 25 year marriage to Maria Shriver, but he counts his blessings as a father whose 13-year-old son, Christopher Schwarzenegger, was saved from the jaws of death in a recent surfing accident.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was born on July 30, 1947 in Austria, the nation which has now honored him by opening the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum in time for his 64th birthday.

Many say the same type of museum will eventually open in California, the land that allowed Schwarzenegger to enjoy successful careers as a bodybuilder, entrepreneur, Golden Globe-winning actor and state governor.

Perhaps nobody exemplifies the California Dream as famously as Arnold Schwarzenegger, a man who still enjoys a level of international celebrity unrivaled by most.
