After a shopper pepper sprayed crowds at an L.A. Wal-Mart to grab her Xbox 360, the LAPD launched a manhunt for the bargain-hunting woman.

The Los Angeles Police Department provided a description of the Black Friday Pepper Spray Bandit who terrorized shoppers at the Porter Ranch Wal-Mart location.

LAPD detectives had asked for help in identifying the Latina female in her 30s, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, wearing a black sweater and black pants.

A woman claiming to be the Wal-Mart Pepper Spray Bandit turned herself in, invoked her right to remain silent and said nothing.  Is she really the bandit?

Police released her pending further investigation and are still on the lookout for the pushy pepper popper.

Numerous L.A. Wal-Mart shoppers were treated for injuries after the pepper spray assault that sent the crowded store into terror and panic.

LAPD detectives are reviewing Wal-Mart video surveillance and receipts to identify the suspect who has shocked the nation with her violent disregard for others in an attempt to purchase an Xbox gaming console on sale.

The woman allegedly pepper sprayed children in the face to get first pick of the sale on Xbox 360s.

According to witnesses fleeing the store, the pepper spray odor made it hard to breath.  Many customers ran out of the Wal-Mart, screaming that they could not see because the pepper spray had burned their eyes.

Anyone with information on the assault is urged to call LAPD detectives immediately at 818-832-0609.
