L.A.'s Best Male Pop Vocalist

Saturday, November 19, 2011

Singer Brad Kirsch is a talented vocalist, but there are lots of good singers in Los Angeles.  What makes Brad Kirsch the best male pop singer in L.A.?

His voice sounds like a 30-year-long cash flow.  It's commercially marketable, plus Kirsch is in his 20s with time to build.

It's a great achievement to vocalize a style through a pop song and take it into the Top 40.  It's even better when a hit single lands in the Top 10.

Some singers, like Brad Kirsch, have a vocal sound that can take numerous pop songs all the way to #1 --- for six or seven consecutive weeks --- selling a tremendous number of albums in the process.

While most pop singers are decent in the studio, but prove mediocre in a LIVE concert, Kirsch's voice sounds just as good LIVE --- and for 90 continuous minutes of performing.

I first heard Brad Kirsch do a LIVE show over a year ago at a major club on the Sunset Strip.  Since then, it's been harder to keep up with Kirsch because he's a lot busier and it seems like he's singing everywhere with everyone.

Brad Kirsch was recently reacquainted with a collaboration colleague from several years back, multi-talented musician Jameson Bass.

Together, Kirsch and Bass are now doing a project they call "Songs With Friends" on YouTube.  Cheesy name, but their combined sound is like butter.

Seriously, dudes.  HELLO.  Best pop in L.A.

Check out the following video of the duo performing a cover song, which has just enough production to bring out all that tingly pop Grammy-ness.
