Nancy Pelosi Knows Something

California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi teased everyone with something she "knows" regarding Newt Gingrich, causing the GOP presidential candidate to call the San Francisco Democrat's bluff.

Does House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi genuinely know some evil secret about Republican Newt Gingrich that will stop him from becoming President of the United States?

The Bay Area liberal used television airtime to say that she knows, doesn't know, then does know "something" about the conservative presidential candidate.

Newt Gingrich publicly stated that, if the former Democratic Speaker does in fact know some secret about the former Republican Speaker, the taunting ex-speaker should speak up or stop speaking.

"Look, I think if she knows something she ought to say it. If she doesn't know something she ought to quit saying it. But this is baloney. I don't think any Republican is going to be threatened by Nancy Pelosi. Frankly, I'd rather have her threaten me than endorse me. So I feel pretty good about it. If she has something, bring it out," said Gingrich.

Two months ago, Pelosi said on television, "One of these days we'll have a conversation about Newt Gingrich. I know a lot about him. I served on the investigative committee that investigated him, four of us locked in a room in an undisclosed location for a year. A thousand pages of his stuff."

The Mitt Romney presidential campaign wants all records from Newt Gingrich's 1990s ethics investigation to be released, but the ethics committee is not in the practice of publicly releasing investigative documents.

This fact is something that Pelosi legitimately does "know."

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, 71, would certainly agree that any potentially damning information discovered during an ethics committee investigation 16 years ago should be dealt with in the most sensitive and responsible manner possible.
