California: Power To The People

California is a powerful society, capable of harnessing its concentrated power toward constructive social change domestically, internationally and universally.

The People of California are reawakening and rising up to meet limiting circumstances, intense opposition and an aggressive onslaught of negativity, discouragement and fear.

Optimistic, fearless and resourceful, Californians are forming coalitions, sharing viewpoints and solidifying together in a united front against socioeconomic regulation, domination and dictation from afar.

Californians are the descendants of every king, queen, artist, minister, rebel, writer, genius, hero, inventor and leader planet Earth has ever seen.  We are the world's greatest hits, gathered together at the end of the world.

We did not forge our way to this golden land through every battle, revolution, diaspora, exodus, genocide and holocaust to simply park ourselves under a palm tree for a tan.

We The People of California are gathered here together in this strange paradise for the purposes of changing our minds, changing our communities and changing the world.

We come from everywhere.  We are everyone.  We are the children of every human who has ever dreamed of a life beyond mediocrity, oppression and desperation.

We Californians are freedom incarnate.

We are the living investments paid forward from every generation since Eden toward a future of liberation, emancipation and the fullest expression of human potential and achievement.

We Californians proudly represent the Great Dream of Humanity that will not die.

We are the spiritual, intellectual and physical dimensions united into the powerful consummation of the ages-old commission to "be fruitful, multiply, cover the earth, and subdue it."

We are proudly black, white, red, yellow and brown.  We are a multicultural, multilingual and multifaceted human force, ready to reassert our God-given dominion over the earth.

As well as being the children of every monarchy, oligarchy, plutocracy, democracy and political nationality in world history, we carry forward the legacy of every American who was promised freedom but was instead worked to the bone, regulated into submission, and taxed to death.

We Californians continuously welcome refugees from 49 U.S. states into our arms each and every day.  May all find themselves here in freedom as we journey together into the 22nd century.

California is the land of protest, the birthplace of electronic media, and the future of technology.  We influence, attract, inspire and amaze. 

We are united in our resolve to channel our hearts, minds and spirits toward the breaking of oppression, the alleviation of human suffering, and the betterment of mankind.

We will not tolerate shoddy workmanship, inferior service nor ineffective leadership.  We will speak up, demand better, and enforce perfection at every turn.  We deserve better and we will relentlessly mandate higher standards.

As the world's most visible society, we are more aware than ever of the magnitude of our responsibility to ourselves, our families, our communities, our nation and our world.

While others around the world pretend to be content leading "lives of quiet desperation," Californians flatly refuse to do so. 

We have learned too much, flown too high, and traveled too far to turn back now.
