California: 2,000 Light Years From Home

California is 2,000 light years from home.  For those not totally into the subliminal groove of the Golden State mentality, this might be a little difficult to understand.

A land famous for science, technology, aerospace, alternative psychology, satellite communications, subconscious journeys, mind expansion, psychedelia, uninhibited spirituality, Star Trek, Star Wars and revolutionary inventions, California lives in the future while struggling with "today."

Most other societies around the world would agree that California is kind of "way out there" when compared to their own workaday existentialism.

The Golden State mentality is different.  Very different, indeed.  Off the charts, in fact.

What other society facilitates a person's change of name, appearance, gender, religion, marital status, politics, mindset and lifestyle, while helping its citizens become multi-billionaires, global celebrities, and leaders of the free world?

Extreme wealth, extreme fame, extreme power and extreme influence all happen in California every day and are available to every Californian.

Limitless opportunities are so casually common in the Golden State that many Californians assume the mentality of a reigning monarch, ruling supreme over their own universe.

With so many hyper-individualistic Californians distinctly aware of their own limitless futures, it makes for quite the dynamic society.

As California works toward turning a $2 trillion economy into $20 trillion, 40 million new ideas are on the verge of materializing... and 2013 is the year.

California is a multidimensional society of minds focused on the distant FUTURE.  That's where California lives.
