Michael Jackson Family Drama
Jul 26, 2012
A judge has appointed TJ Jackson, Tito's son, to serve as temporary guardian of Michael Jackson's three children in the absence of grandmother Katherine Jackson.
The Jackson family matriarch had been vacationing at the Miraval Resort in Tucson, Arizona without her minor grandchildren knowing her whereabouts.
"My grandmother is missing," Paris Jackson had tweeted. "I haven't spoken with her in a week. I want her home now." As well, Paris tweeted out a phone number asking anyone with information to call.
Later, Paris Jackson tweeted, "8 days and counting. Something is really off. This isn't like her at all. I wanna talk directly to my grandmother!"
Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff suspended Katherine Jackson as the children's guardian because she left the state of California and had not spoken with any of her grandchildren for numerous days.
The judge also ruled that the Jackson children cannot leave the state of California without prior permission from the court as a Jackson family feud escalates in public.
Judge Beckloff appointed Tito Joe "TJ" Jackson, 34, (Michael Jackson's nephew) to serve as temporary guardian with the ability to control the Calabasas home where the children live.
Grandmother Katherine Jackson, 82, was in a state of disbelief and hurt by the court's ruling. Her grandchildren have lived with her since her son Michael Jackson died three years ago.
"I am devastated that while I've been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home to see about that," declared the Jackson matriarch. "Because there's a lot of lies that have been put out there, and I am going home to straighten them out."
Katherine said that, as far as she knew, the kids were left with cousin TJ, the nannies, the housekeepers and the cook at home in Calabasas, California.
TJ Jackson's attorney Charles Shultz revealed that Michael Jackson's children were forced to miss school Wednesday because of concerns about their security.
Minor children Prince Jackson, 15, Paris Jackson, 14, and Blanket Jackson, 10, are in constant need of security protection against kidnapping, due to their late father's billion-dollar estate.
Schultz said TJ Jackson did not want to permanently replace Katherine Jackson as legal guardian, though Judge Beckloff stated that TJ Jackson would have to petition to become the permanent guardian within 48 hours.Oddly, Jermaine Jackson claimed his mother was following doctor's orders to "cut off communications" with her grandchildren, even though she is their legal guardian.
Katherine Jackson returned to Southern California this morning to sort out the mess that transpired in her absence, and she is talking to attorneys today.
Days ago, Rebbie, Randy, Janet, Jermaine and Tito wrote a letter to the executors of Michael Jackson's estate, demanding their resignations and accusing them of fraudulently grabbing control of Michael Jackson's billion-dollar empire through a fake will.
Uncle Tito has since retracted his signature from the letter since his son TJ got temporary custody of brother Michael's kids, along with $86,000 in monthly child support payments.
Before things spiral too far out of control in the Jackson family regarding Michael's children, Michael's money and Michael's legacy, all would be advised to hear what Michael Jackson himself said so emotionally in the following video, then take it to heart.
