"Summer of Love" Cascada

Jul 12, 2012

"Summer of Love" is a 2012 electropop California song by the Eurodance band Cascada from Bonn, Germany.

A track from Cascada's album, Back on the Dancefloor, "Summer of Love" is a European smash that is now hitting the summer dance floors of America.

The German dance music group's ode to San Francisco's 1967 Summer of Love is an obvious sequel to Cascada's international megahit, "San Francisco."

Cascada's blonde bombshell lead singer, Natalie Horler, symbolizes the beach girl California stereotype envisioned by 90 percent of the planet and, with her perfect pop vocal, the hit song formula is completed once more in 2012.

An aggressive dance floor hit, "Summer of Love" features an overdose of beaches, palm trees, bikinis, convertibles, surfboards, dancing, and summer party action in the official music video (below).

"Summer of Love" is one of the hippest California songs ever and another dance music classic for Cascada.
