Best Barbra Streisand Song Ever

Oct 9, 2012

"Love" is a song recorded in 1971 by singer Barbra Streisand from the album Barbra Joan Streisand.  A pop music masterpiece, "Love" is the best song of Barbra Streisand's career.

"Love" was composed by mega-songwriter John Lennon in Los Angeles, California during his July 1970 visit to The Primal Institute.  Lennon had recorded "Love" for his first solo album after the breakup of The Beatles.

Only a few months later, Barbra Streisand recorded Lennon's epic song because of its simplicity, directness and emotional intensity.  It was pure magic.

Streisand's remake of "Love" was produced by legendary record producer Richard Perry (Jane Fonda's beau since 2009).

The music video (below) for Barbra Streisand's "Love" is a remix version produced by Los Angeles artist Adriano Abatayo, best known for his acclaimed 2009 fine art portrait of Streisand.

Abatayo's stunning reproduction of "Love" highlights Barbra Streisand's longtime marriage to husband James Brolin and the couple's romantic life together on the beach in Malibu, California.

It is the best remix of the best Barbra Streisand song ever.
