Paris Jackson: Hollywood Actress

Oct 16, 2012

Paris Jackson spent most of her childhood shielded from paparazzi and the public by her father, the late Michael Jackson.  Those days are over as the glamorous teen actress takes center stage in Hollywood.

Paris Jackson, 14, took to the red carpet with Auntie LaToya in Beverly Hills recently, generating massive buzz about the teenager's stunning beauty and her ambitious dream of winning a Best Actress Oscar.

"You can be a totally different person on camera.  It's fun! You can take on another character," said Jackson.  "My dad was in the movie Moonwalker.  I saw that and thought, 'Wow! I want to be just like him'."

Paris Jackson stars in the new movie Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys, which will hit theaters in 2013.

"I love my dad and I'm proud to be his daughter," said Jackson.  "A lot of people think he's the only reason I'm making it, but I want to show that I do have talent and that I can make it if I try.  I want to be my own person."

Paris will also be making cameo appearances on her aunt LaToya Jackson's new TV reality show, "Life With LaToya," airing on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

As a native Californian with independent views, Paris Jackson is outspoken about politics.  The teen Obama supporter recently tweeted that she would move to Africa if Mitt Romney wins the presidential election.

"Spoke my mind.  Said my opinions.  Don't really care if you disagree with me," added the famous Calabasas resident, who has stated that she just might run for public office in the future.

For now, Paris Katherine Jackson is a young woman experiencing what Hollywood has to offer, with a schedule of simultaneous debuts in films, on television and in fashion.

2013 promises to be quite a year for the only daughter of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop.
