Smoking Bans Suck

In California's crusade to ban smoking everywhere, the nanny state has already turned smokers into outlaws in restaurants, bars, workplaces, public buildings, and even inside one's own car in some cities.

Now the smoking bans are hitting home, literally.

The City of San Rafael, a San Francisco suburb, is now the ninth California city to ban smoking inside one's private home, if the home is a condominium, duplex or any other type of residence with shared walls.

While they were at it, the San Rafael City Council went ahead and banned smoking on downtown streets as well.  Gee, how 'bout a fart ban?

What an act of tyranny.  Hail Hitler.  What's next, mandatory "showers"?

What about the skies above that are filled with chemicals sprayed by aircraft every day that are causing widespread respiratory ailments among the very young and the very old?

Oh, that's right.  Children and the elderly are "non-productive members of society."  My mistake.  My bad.  Resume the slow killing.  Nobody cares anyway.

You know, all you have to do is pull out the old Nazi playbook to see what's happening in our society right now.  Subversive encroachment.  Creeping encroachment.  Unconstitutional encroachment.

If you are my neighbor, and we have a property line between us, you will sue me if I suddenly move my property line into yours by 100 feet.  If I instead move my line forward by only 6 inches per year, you will probably never notice.

Take away everyone's civil rights suddenly, and you'll have riots and revolutions from coast to coast.  Doing the same thing slowly over time allows for more theft without most folks noticing or caring, as is quite evident today.

That's encroachment, babe.

If someone wants to relax with a cigarette inside their own home, that is not the concern of wannabe dictators living on taxpayers' money.  Fire the bastards and make them homeless.

What's that you say?  "I don't smoke, so I don't care"?  Great.  Tomorrow, it will be something that YOU do in YOUR home that'll be next on the Nazi list of disposable civil rights.

Why taxpaying citizens put up with this kind of crap is beyond me.  How could grown adults vote for such Nazi hypocrites?

Don't voters have balls anymore?

Maybe it's something the government puts in those chemtrails filling up our skies (besides the barium, aluminum and freeze-dried human blood cells) that's turning Californians into wussies.

People sat on their asses watching reality shows instead of lifting a finger to save their country, their state, their city and their neighborhood.

Now it has "hit the fan" inside their homes... and what will they do?  Change the TV channel?

Perhaps we need a ban on bans.
