The TITAN supercomputer is the world's most powerful supercomputer, made possible by GPUs from the California-based company NVIDIA, and CPUs from the California-based company Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
Made by Cray Inc., The Supercomputer Company, TITAN has an extremely powerful theoretical peak performance of 20 petaflops, or 20 quadrillion calculations per second.
The TITAN supercomputer has 710 terabytes of memory, it's the size of a basketball court, and it consumes 9 megawatts of power.
