California: Back in Black

California is back in black, she hit the sack.  Been too long, she's glad to be back.

Unemployment is down, foreclosures are down, credit ratings are up, expenditures are down, revenue is up, patents for new inventions are exploding, and the deadbeats who had been sucking the system dry have been run out of state.

California's been let loose from the noose that's kept her hanging about.  She's got nine lives, cat's eyes.  She's using every one of them and running wild.

As citizens in 50 states petition for secession from the U.S., an optimized Golden State is headed for sub-national sovereignty and a future as the global center of politics, law, diplomacy, economics, environment, spirituality, technology, science and the arts.

Previously written off as dead by pundits the world over, California is now rising up as empires fall.

Call it fate or otherwise, she is reborn like never before to lead the planet into the 22nd century.
