2013: The Time Has Come

As we journey together through 2013, the time has come to cast aside what is outdated and irrelevant to embrace the new and unknown.

The time has come to change everything and restructure our entire lives.

Most of us find change to be uncomfortable because it makes us feel like we're not in control.  Face it, though.  If we each had tightly autocratic control over every aspect of life, we would get bored anyway.

The time has come for us to move on, people.

If we were to be trapped in an air-tight room with a freshly-laid piece of crap, we would have a hard time breathing.  We would also use up much of our precious oxygen complaining about the smell.

Over subsequent days, however, we would not notice the stench quite as much after becoming use to it.  Given long enough, we would no longer smell anything at all.

We would eventually conclude that the situation isn't really so bad.  That's how adaptable we are as humans.

Has someone been taking advantage of our adaptability?

The truth is that most of us have been living in that room throughout the last year, and unnecessarily so.  We were never supposed to have been in that room to begin with.

To add insult to injury, we paid somebody rent for the "privilege" of choking together in that airless room, not realizing that it would become a fearful prison cell.

That era is now over.  Out with the old, in with the new.  2013 is a whole new playing field.

The time has come to exercise our intuition, ideas, dreams, plans and sheer willpower as individuals; as allied groups; as humanity.

We will make of this world what we choose for ourselves, our children and our grandkids.  OUR WAY.

Some of us will die trying, but most of us will live to enjoy life outside that suffocating box.  The human race will now make it happen.

As for those guilty parties who exploited our adaptability, the time has come for them to choke on their own toxicity.  Can I get an AMEN?

The time has come to examine our hearts, minds and spirits and finally work together as a human family, knowing that anything and everything is possible for us all.

Lack and limitation both totally suck, so the time has come for them to vanish without a trace, and they surely will as we join hands together across 24 time zones.

MMXIII is a year far different from all the preceding years in human history.

Bizarre as it may appear, the following music video says far more than mere words can describe regarding where we've been and where we've now come to.

Where we're going next is now entirely up to US.  Let's make our time, talents, energy and focus count in 2013, the most challenging and accomplished year of our generation.
