Statewide "California Dreamin" Song Contest
Mar 1, 2013
The "California Dreamin" Song Contest invites all musicians statewide to enter a new version of the biggest California song of all time for the California Lottery's Powerball.
The California Lottery's "California Dreamin" Song Contest is open to all musicians of every musical style who are residents of the Golden State over 18 years of age.
Contestants can be soloists, bands, choirs or instrumentalists, but they must totally amaze with a new remake of the iconic 1965 megahit song by The Mamas & The Papas.
Giving all credit where it's totally due, "California Dreamin" was composed by songwriters John Phillips and Michelle Phillips.
"California Dreamin" song contestants statewide will be competing for a $5,000 prize and an invitation to perform LIVE at an official Powerball kick-off celebration on April 8, 2013 in San Francisco.
